Learn 3 Keys to Great Putting
Great putting comes down to three essential skills: starting the ball on the correct line, controlling distance, and reading the green. Each skill is important, but the best putters learn how to combine all three.
Starting Line
Starting line is the ability to aim correctly and start the ball on your intended line. This requires good alignment, solid contact, and a consistent putting stroke. Even with the correct read and speed, the putt will not go in if the ball starts offline.
Distance Control
Distance control is the ability to roll the ball at the intended speed. Good distance control helps the ball finish close to the hole and reduces three-putts. It also affects how much the putt will break—a slower putt will break more, while a faster putt will break less.
Green Reading
Green reading is the ability to determine how the slope will affect the ball. The goal is to choose the correct starting line and speed before making the stroke. Understanding the putt’s aim line, apex, and entry point can help the player create a clear picture of the ball’s path to the hole.

Equivalent to $79/month. Save $60 every three months compared with the monthly plan. Paid upfront in one $237 payment. Your membership automatically renews every three months. You can cancel your next renewal anytime online or by calling us.
Easy Cancellation
Cancel either plan online or by calling us before your next renewal. Your access continues through the end of your paid membership period. Payments are nonrefundable.
